Cecilia filmed and interviewed her annual Thanksgiving trip to see her grandma out in the sticks. This short portrait is her favorite documentary short she’s made so far.
Visual and Performing Arts Promotional Video

As part of a week-long summer program for students grades k-9, Cecilia edited and produced a promo video for the Farmington Public Schools Board of Education.
Rebel Dog Coffee
2023
Cecilia featured a local business in a news spot that was aired on FOX61 CT and nominated for the FOX61 Student News Award, a statewide competition. The video is also featured in advertisements on FOX61’s website.
Crushed
2022
After several months of planning, writing, and exchanging feedback, Cecilia produced her first short film. It was shown at Real Art Ways Independent Cinema as part of their Eye on Video apprenticeship program.
Farmington CT High School Building Construction Update
2022-23
As part of her student news program, Cecilia researched and produced a video to spotlight and summarize the work that has been done on a nearby building project. She shoots monthly updates for the school.

Upon applying for an apprenticeship at Real Art Ways Independent Cinema, Cecilia edited and produced a short self portrait. The theme was: “Connection”.
About

Cecilia is a third-year student at Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts, studying filmmaking, Spanish, and arts management. In high school, she produced a weekly news program and was editor of the Farmington High School newspaper, The Voice, for three years. Several of her video news pieces have been nominated for the FOX 61 Student News Award, and her short film, Crushed, was shown at Real Art Ways Cinema in Hartford, CT. In her time at Rutgers, she has gained essential experience in both videography and photography. She is a photographer for the Honors College Media Team and the co-head video editor for the Rutgers newspaper, The Daily Targum. Recently, she worked on an award-winning short film, Joan’s Teeth, starring Kathleen Turner. Cecilia enjoys photographing people and nature in her free time, and is excited to work as a video journalist after graduation.
